I Had cdiff once. it was gross. andthe ironic thing is you need antibiotics to get it to go away. my dr put me on antibiotics for too long and i got c diff.

Too many antibiotics can also cause oral thrush. I got that a few months ago and it sucked. My lips were swollen, and my throat was hurting. They gave me antivirals and it did go away. What helped, was ginger tea (with local honey), probiotics, and charcoal/eucalyptus toothpaste. Ive found ginger tea helps to balance my gut. Not to worry you more, just some advice in case you ever encounter that! You'll know you have it when your tongue is coated and white. Gross, yes. But common and treatable 😊

Hey Friend, Happy Monday. I have never been to scotter’s coffee but I always wanted to try it out. I have to get my coffee made in oat milk as well but dunkin charges more for their oat milk for some reason. 🙄😅 I’m so excited to buy some of the fall treats but I’m not too big on snacks anymore. 😅

Aww the first day of school.. I was a emotional basket case my husband cried and my youngest cried. The one going to school did the best! You should definitely go see a ENT for your throat!

My son in law told me the other day when we were in Sam's not to get their mac and cheese cause it's not very good or worth the price!

I cry every time I look at pictures of my kids when they were small 😭 they started 10th and 6th grade this yr and I just wonder where time went. So bitter sweet seeing our babies grow

I was on constant antibiotics for atleast two months and cdiff was never an issue.

CMA here. Eat yogurt and take probiotics to combat cdiff. I have seen people on antibiotics for months and not have cdiff, while taking probiotics and eating yogurt.

I have been on more than 1 round of antibiotics without issue. Take the antibiotic with a probiotic yogurt, greek yogurt works well. That helped me, I just came off of a round of antibiotics and they tear my stomach up but I took each pill with yogurt and it helped. Also helps to have a small meal with it, even if it is a few crackers or half a sandwich, something to help absorb. I am an RN, never had c.diff but have dealt with it more than once, it is definitely something you would notice. The smell is otherworldly, and it is constant diarrhea. Generally when you take round after round of antibiotics your body creates an immune response and becomes resistant. Hopefully this last round will kill off the bacteria.
